Dear Parents/Carers,

Firstly I want to wish you all a happy and safe half term and we will look forward to welcoming the children back on Monday 26^th October.

I also wanted to give you further details on how parents evening will work in the week beginning 2^nd November.

As I have previously mentioned, appointments will be held over the telephone. You will receive an email this week linked to a survey. It is essential that this is completed by 3.30pm on Monday 26^th October.

In the survey you will be asked for the phone number that you would like to receive the call on and to pick the time slots that are most convenient. These are hour timeslots. For example if you pick 3.30pm – 4.30pm you would be called between these times.

Please pick more than one preference. You will then receive an email in week beginning 26^th October to confirm the day and time slot for the parents evening.

The phone calls will last a maximum of 10 minutes but it may be that some calls are shorter than this. Parents of children who are on the SEND register will be allocated a double appointment. The phone call may come from a withheld number, not the school phone number, so please ensure that you answer a call either from a withheld number or a number you do not recognise.

The phone call is an opportunity for you to discuss any issues or concerns that you may have and will give teachers the opportunity to talk to you about your child’s progress and targets that they have.
