Celebration Assembies take place on Fridays at 9am for the Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 and at 9:45 am for Key Stage 2. There are also other special assemblies such as Harvest and Diwali to which parents receive an invitation. Each class will perform a class assembly during the school year. An email/letter will inform you of when your child's assembly is.

ABSENCE
If your child is absent from school for any reason, please could you telephone the school before 9am to confirm why your child is not at school. We have a system of computerised registers and if we do not have this information it will be recorded as an unauthorised absence and will automatically be shown on your child’s report at the end of the year. If you do have any concerns, please arrange an appointment at the office to see Mrs Dulieu, our Headteacher.

Schools now have to keep statistics on reasons for absence and publish them, so it is essential that you let us know for our records. We have a visit each month by our Educational Welfare Officer, who helps the school to monitor lateness and absences.

SCHOOL ATTENDANCE AND FAMILY HOLIDAYS IN TERM TIME
Please take family holidays in the school holiday. Please remember that you should not expect the school to agree a family holiday during term time. Please scroll to the bottom of the page to find a leave of absence request form.

UNAUTHORISED ABSENCE
