Logo Competition

One of our great school councilors wrote the following letter encouraging pupils to enter our competition. We cannot wait to see the entries!

Dear Parents/Carers

School Council logo competition

School Council are running an amazing competition to design our new School Council logo! The School Council will choose the best logo and it will be used on the school website. Also it will be on everything that the School Council makes.

The logo must include the name of the School and the School Council. It must be on A4 piece of paper so it will be big enough to scan. It can be as creative as you like and it can be any colour you want. If you want to enter please give the logo to your School Council representative by TUESDAY 22nd OCTOBER 2020.

Yours sincerely

Karol – Year 4

Wear It Yellow - 10th October

School Council today organised 'Wear It Yellow Day'. School Council chose to support this event and the charity Young Minds as it helps raise awareness of mental health issues surrounding and involving young people. They day was fantastic and it was amazing to see so many people supporting the charity by wearing yellow. In total, we raised £284.70! Well Done Everyone.  Have a look at our gallery below of the day!

Election Day
Wednesday 18th September 2019
Today, we all got to vote for who our School Councilors will be. In turn, each class got to visit the Polling Station and vote on our ballot papers. Mr King supervised the elections along with the year 6 Councilors and they told us about how voting is one of our British Values as we live in a democracy. There was such a buzz around school. Below are some pictures from the exciting election! Scroll through to see even more!
After voting had closed. Mr King and the Year 6 School Councilors began counting the votes. We were amazed by how many needed sorting! We began to wonder how long it took in a real election!
We cannot wait to reveal our School Councilors in Assembly on Monday! Good luck to all candidates!
